EE vs CompE for robotics — which path?

Torn between Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering majors. Want to work in robotics/embedded systems.

What I've gathered:

  • EE: stronger for controls, sensors, circuit-level design
  • CompE: better for embedded software, FPGAs, computer architecture

School allows switching until junior year. EE majors — do you feel like you get enough software training? CompE folks — regret not doing EE?
