Campus rent prices are out of control — rant + solutions

My university just raised on-campus housing 8% for next year. Off-campus 1BR is now $1,400/mo in a mid-sized college town.

How are you all affording this?

• Living with 3+ roommates?
• Commuting from further out?
• Working during the semester?

I know this affects academic performance. Wish admin would acknowledge the housing crisis is impacting student outcomes.
